Softly strange sensations caressed my skin.

There, over the darkened treeline marching out into the bay
Against an indigo night sky,
It floated.
Silently. Silverly. Scintillating.
A liquid flow of light moving out towards the lake.
It stopped. Dead-still.
Transfixed, I stood.

Phosphorescent blues, pinks, and greens
Sparked outwards, arched upwards,
