that need to be addressed.

Canadian families online for more than 32 hours per week (Ipsos-Reid 2002). The result? Our young people are using--and
becoming more familiar and comfortable with--forms of communications other than written texts to seek out information.
- Students learn in a variety of ways and have unique and individual needs.
- Students need to be prepared to function effectively in their chosen occupation when they
leave the sheltered enviroment of our schools to enter the world of work.
- Students need to become critical thinkers and enthusiastic lifelong learners.
